AARP Hawaii will host a free webinar for kupuna on the COVID-19 vaccine booster at noon on October 15.
Dr. Aida Wen, associate professor of geriatric medicine at the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii, and CJ Johnson, outreach specialist with the state Department of Health, will speak at the webinar.
“We believe it is essential for kupuna to obtain information from reliable sources on COVID-19, the vaccine recalls, the new variants and what the state is doing to make the boosters available to those eligible.” AARP Hawaii State Director Keali’i Lopez said in a press release Tuesday.
